It's big and It's beautiful
Come join us to celebrate The Family Pantry's new garden!
Garden Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
June 18, 2011
From 1:00 - 2:00 PM
The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 1pm in the garden, located directly behind the pantry at 133 Queen Anne Road in Harwich, MA. The Garden Commitee invites all who are interested in celebrating to join us. At this time, the commitee will give thanks to the many donors and individuals who have so generously contributed their time, skills, supplies, and passion over the past months to complete the garden project.
As many of you already know, keeping fresh produce in stock has always been a challenge for the pantry. The new garden will provide clients with rich, nutritious vegetables. Volunteers will staff the garden this summer and autumn in order to maintain the direct flow of fruits and vegetables into clients' shopping bags. The grand opening of the garden is truly a celebration of community. We hope that the garden itself will bring Cape & Islands residents together for years to come.
