Shepley Employees Food Drive

 The following is a portion of a memo that Shepley Wood Products sent to their employees.  Their mission - a Food Drive to help support The Family Pantry of Cape Cod.  Thank you Shepley! _____________________________________________________   Hey kids - we’re having a food drive to support the good work of the Family Pantry of Cape Cod!   Starting now, and continuing through February 14, we are calling ourselves the Shepley Cupids, and we are collecting money and non-perishable foods to donate to the Family Pantry of Cape Cod, which serves ALL of our neighbors on the Cape, Islands, and even over the bridge!  We are accepting donations at all Shepley locations (Hyannis, Nantucket, and Wellfleet).  Food items always in need are: canned tuna, peanut butter, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, healthy all-fruit jams and jellies, low sodium canned vegetables, low sodium hearty soups, and powdered milk.  However, the Pantry also gladly accepts money donations, and that money goes a long way, because the Pantry can buy food at 19 cents per pound through the Greater Boston Food Bank!
