Foods To Encourage is a program to help people with high blood pressure, heart disease or diabetes to help monitor their condition and to  educate about the disease.  Each site, that hosts the program, has a nutrition educator and registered nurses who take blood pressure and blood sugar readings during each visit.   The readings are recorded and counseling is provided based on the readings.   In addition to the health monitoring, the nutrition educator provides nutrition counseling as well as food that can be used to produce a healthy snack.  Anyone in the community is welcome to participate in the program.  Please call the sites for more information
